Je continue avec mon abécédaire. Il est temps de passer à la lettre F. It’s time to move on to the letter F in the alphabetical tour of the garden.
Commençons par le Fuschia Blue Lace qui continue à produire de fleurs malgré le froid qui arrive. Il profite de ses derniers jours au jardin avant de rejoindre la serre. Despite the colder temperatures the Fuschia Blue Lace is still in flower and making the most of being in the garden before it moves to its winter quarters in the greenhouse.
Au fond du jardin le Fatshedera offert par Maryse et Jean Luc se porte bien et son beau feuillage illumine ce coin sombre. The shady area at the end of the garden is lit up by the bright-leaved Fatshedera, a present from Maryse and Jean Luc.
Le rosier The Fairy est toujours aussi féerique. The Fairy rose is simply magical as always.
Pour terminer je dois choisir un mot commençant par F et le mot feuillage vient à l’esprit. Voici le beau feuillage presque noir du Weigela Ebony and Ivory, une nouveauté au jardin. L’année prochaine quand il sera couvert de fleurs blanches je pense que le spectacle sera beau. And finally a word beginning with F : Foliage comes to mind. This is the almost black foliage of the Weigela Ebony and Ivory, new to the garden this year. I can’t wait to see what it’s like when covered with white flowers; but for that I’ll have to wait for next year.
